Sage have confirmed the launch date for 1000v3 as 15th July. We’ll be sending quite a contingent to the event to make sure that we’re fully briefed on the new features of what is a major update for all Line 500 and 1000 customers.
If you’ve missed the background, 1000v3 is the next generation of Line 500. It has the same core functionality as Line 500 v7.1 but with a new and very interesting user interface that makes interacting with the application much faster and more intuitive. It comes with a new user-friendly data model that means that anyone can access data held in the application without having to understand the table names and joins hidden behind the scenes. This combined with the new Sage BI toolset means that attractive and informative reports can be generated out of the box. And there’s integration to Excel too.
In the autumn Sage will release 1000v3.01 which will include seamless integration with a new release of Sage SalesLogix CRM meaning that you get the benefit of a full function ERP and CRM platform to meet all of your business needs.
